The main performance parameters of piezoelectric transducer materials are:
(1) Piezoelectric strain constant
The magnitude of strain generated when a piezoelectric crystal is subjected to a unit voltage from the external environment.
(2) Piezoelectric voltage constant
The magnitude of the voltage gradient generated when a piezoelectric crystal is subjected to external unit stress. These two parameters are important parameters for measuring the emission performance of piezoelectric crystal materials. The larger the parameter, the better the emission performance and the higher the emission sensitivity.
(3) Frequency constant
The natural frequency of a piezoelectric chip multiplied by its thickness is a constant called the frequency constant N. It can be seen that the thickness of the chip is inversely proportional to the resonant frequency, while the frequency of ultrasound mainly depends on the thickness of the chip and the speed of sound in the chip.
