Industrial Ultrasonic Cleaners: Compare Tanks and Applications

SonerC is an industrial ultrasonic cleaner manufacturer and supplier. This page compares the range rather than one machine. Follow the CNC route for precision machined parts, the automotive route for engine-component work, or the batch route for repeated loads. The larger tanks have their own product records. Cleaning takes place in a liquid bath: please identify the part and its residue when asking us which configuration to use.

6 product routes — compare by task

SE-45L to SE-960L — featured models

28 kHz or 40 kHz — specified configuration

SYSTEM SELECTION

Start with the part, load and process—not the outside dimensions

Tank capacity alone is not a fit check. Measure the longest part, its weight and the complete batch, including any fixture. Allow space around the load for the liquid. The listed dimensions are tank interiors, not guaranteed workpiece clearance or load ratings. A basket is not included with every model.

APPLICATION FIT

Match cavitation, chemistry and handling to the workpiece

Automotive & rebuilding
For a rebuild shop, identify the cylinder head or serviceable engine component first. Send its dimensions and describe the grease or carbon residue.

CNC & metalworking
Cutting oil, coolant, loose chips and polishing compound are different residues. Which one is on your machined parts? A fixture can change the space needed in the bath, so show it in the drawing or photograph. Test the proposed arrangement with the actual load before accepting a cleaning result.

Precision manufacturing
A precision part is more than its outside dimensions. Point out a recessed area or bore that needs cleaning, and identify any coating. Tell us which surface finish must survive the process. These are matters for the part trial, not something a capacity figure answers.

Industrial maintenance
Serviceable metal components and tooling, assessed for dimensions, weight, soil and cleaning-solution compatibility.

FULL-CHAIN MANUFACTURING

From components to an assembled tank

You can inspect our production-equipment page for the ceramic and electronics stages. Here, we have kept three factory photographs and the industrial assembly and water-test photographs. Read them as records of the pictured work. A photograph of a furnace, for example, is not an acceptance certificate for your tank. The ordered build needs its own agreed drawings and checks.

01 Ceramic components
Ceramic work is documented from pressing through sintering, grinding and polarization.

02 Electronics
The electronics material shows SMT and reflow, with X-ray and wave-soldering equipment.

03 Tank & transducer
A tank build needs transducer positioning, bonding and curing before the assembly checks.

04 System assembly
The tank, electronics and wiring are brought together at assembly.

05 Test & packing
Agree on the functional checks and packing requirements for the ordered build.

INDUSTRIAL BUILD & TEST EVIDENCE

Industrial tank assembly, transducer installation and water testing

These supplied photographs show industrial tank assembly, exposed transducer wiring and a powered water test. They document those visible stages, not the performance, load rating or acceptance test of every model in the series.

OEM PROJECT ROUTES

Specify a Custom Industrial Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank

Standard platform
The model pages state what is being offered. For example, the 175 L configuration omits both the basket and lid; the 960 L reference is also without a lid. Please do not carry an accessory seen on another model into your order by assumption.

Configured system
Submit the part drawings and cleaning task. Tank and exterior dimensions, transducer quantity and layout, frequency, heating power and supply design can be evaluated for your project.

Supply and installation review
There are two electrical arrangements to discuss for the large tanks. The ultrasonic input is built for the agreed destination, either 100–110 V or 220–240 V. Heating is on three-phase power. Give the available three-phase voltage and supply frequency with the enquiry. The voltage options do not mean automatic switching.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Industrial ultrasonic cleaner FAQs

What size system do I need?

The drawing comes first. Please measure with the fixture attached, and give the total batch weight. Our comparison lists inside tank measurements. It does not list a maximum permissible load, and the quoted litres are not a fill instruction. We need to agree on working clearance and liquid level for your arrangement.

Should I choose 28 kHz or 40 kHz?

The SE-45L production record says 40 kHz. On the other listed platforms, 28 kHz and 40 kHz are choices of build, not evidence of a switching function. Put the material and finish on the enquiry alongside the residue. The selected frequency belongs in the agreed specification.

Can engine blocks and cylinder heads be cleaned?

A fit check is needed for each casting. Use the automotive route below, then send the head or block drawing. Account for protruding features, the loading fixture and weight. We cannot decide that it fits from the capacity label, or from a different casting having fitted before.

What information is needed for a custom quotation?

What is the part made of, and what is left on it? Include these details with a photograph and a dimensioned drawing. Record the weight of one part and of the loaded batch, with the number of parts. Tell us how you judge a cleaned part acceptable. A site sketch should show the space, power supply and route for loading. Put rinsing, drying, filtration and automation on a separate list if you need them: they are additional scope to discuss, not features implied by tank size.

GLOBAL PROJECT SUPPORT

Send the part, contamination and throughput target

Send one representative part or drawing and describe the residue you need to remove. SonerC can review a listed industrial ultrasonic cleaning tank or a custom configuration with you. Agree on the loading arrangement, frequency, transducers, heater and power supply before an order is specified.
