As the co-founder of Shenzhen Soner Technology Co., Ltd, I lead product development, project management, and marketing of our precision ultrasonic cleaning systems. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of ultrasonic technology and product engineering.

In July 2026, Soner Technology welcomed a Japanese customer to our electronics workshop for a detailed on-site factory audit. The visit focused heavily on Incoming Quality Control (IQC) - the first gate through which every component enters our production line. The customer examined our inspection standards, sampling plans, acceptance criteria, non-conforming product handling procedures, equipment calibration records, and supplier management documentation.

This level of scrutiny reflects the expectations of the Japanese market: quality is not declared in a catalog; it must be verifiable in every process, record, and decision on the factory floor.

Why Incoming Inspection Is the Foundation of Ultrasonic Cleaner Quality

For an ultrasonic cleaner, performance depends on the precise interaction of the generator PCB, piezoelectric ceramics, transducers, and bonding process. A single weak component - especially the PCB - can cause unstable frequency output, inconsistent cavitation, or premature failure. That is why Soner Technology treats incoming inspection as a critical engineering control rather than a simple receiving check.

What the Audit Covered

Inspection standards and work instructions for electronic components

Acceptance criteria and sampling plans aligned with AQL / ISO requirements

Handling of non-conforming materials, including segregation, root-cause analysis, supplier feedback, and corrective action

Calibration records and maintenance status of inspection and test equipment

Traceability of incoming batches from supplier to production line

ISO Quality Management Embedded in Daily Work

Soner Technology is ISO-certified, and the management system is not maintained for audits alone. The procedures, records, and discipline the customer reviewed are part of normal operations. Every incoming batch is verified before it enters production; every deviation is documented; every corrective action is tracked to closure. Our quality team explained that the goal is not only to detect defects but to prevent them from reaching the production floor.

PCB Incoming Inspection: A Critical Control Point

The PCB controls the ultrasonic generator's frequency, power, and protection logic. Its quality directly determines cleaning consistency and long-term reliability. Our IQC process for PCBs includes supplier qualification, visual inspection, dimensional verification, electrical functional testing, and batch traceability. Defective or out-of-spec PCBs are rejected and returned to the supplier, ensuring only qualified boards proceed to assembly.

Handling Non-Conforming Products with Traceability

When an incoming lot fails inspection, it is immediately labeled and segregated. The quality team opens a non-conformance report, identifies the root cause, and communicates with the supplier for corrective action. Depending on the severity, material is either reworked under controlled conditions, sorted, or scrapped. All decisions and actions are recorded, creating full traceability and supporting continuous improvement.

Building Confidence with International Customers

The audit demonstrated that Soner Technology's quality system can meet the strict standards expected by Japanese customers. The detailed review of incoming inspection records, equipment calibration, and non-conforming product handling confirmed that our ISO-based quality culture is implemented in daily work, not just on paper. This reinforces the trust of existing partners and signals to new customers that our ultrasonic cleaners are built under controlled, accountable processes.
